Pakistan breaches LoC ceasefire for third straight night

Srinagar, April 27: Pakistani forces once again opened unprovoked fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, officials reported on Sunday, noting that Indian Army personnel “gave a fitting response.”

This marks the third night in a row that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement along the LoC.

“During the night between April 26 and 27, Pakistani Army posts initiated unprovoked small arms fire across the LoC, targeting areas opposite the Tutmari Gali and Rampur sectors,” officials stated.

They added that Indian soldiers “responded effectively using appropriate small arms fire.”
