Police Carry Out Raids on Terrorists and Their Aides in J&K’s Doda-Kishtwar Region

JAMMU, April 28: Police have conducted raids at the residences of terrorists based in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and their associates in the Doda and Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir, according to official sources.
The searches are part of ongoing investigations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), with extensive operations underway at locations linked to individuals associated with terror groups, sources said.
On Monday, police teams carried out searches targeting suspects believed to have connections with militants operating from PoJK in Doda and Kishtwar.
Authorities have intensified their crackdown on terrorist networks and support systems following the April 22 terror attack in south Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, including that of a Nepalese national, and left several injured.
Officials emphasized that all actions are being conducted in compliance with legal protocols.
