Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt P.G Women College organises “Plantation Drive” under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
JAMMU, JANUARY 31: Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee, in collaboration with IQAC of the Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt P.G Women College conducted “Plantation Drive” under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan here in the chemistry block of the college.
The drive aimed to spread a message against rising drug addiction among youth. There is always a hope for a new journey, a new life.
A total of 50 students participated with great fervor & enthusiasm in the event and raised slogans on Say no to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.
Prof.Rashmi Kumari convenor (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan committee) coordinated the whole program and welcomed chief patron Prof. Minu Mahajan, Principal of the college. Prof. Minu Mahajan (Principal) applauded the initiatives by the NMBA committee of the college. She highlighted the ill -effects of the drugs and motivated the students to spread the messages to their friends, peers and family members.
Prof. Geetanjali Rana (Dean Arts), Prof. Sanjay Verma (Dean Sciences) Prof. Mamta Gupta (Dean Commerce) and Prof. Mala Bhasin (Staff Secretary) were present during the event.
Dr. Yashpal Sharma Convener and Dr. Rupinder member (IQAC) were present on the occasion.
Dr Suraj Mohani Jamwal, Prof. Paramjeet Singh, Prof. Swarn Singh, Prof. Kusum and Prof. Sunita organised the event.
