Jammu Police Conducts Mock Drill Exercise and briefing at Base Camp Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar ahead of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025

In view of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2025,Jammu Police conducted multiple preparedness exercises to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims.

A comprehensive Mock Drill Exercise at Base Camp Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar Jammu was conducted today involving Police deployments including Special Operations Group (SOG) Jammu,CRPF,Security wing,SDRF,Fire & Emergency Services ,health and officers/officials from Civil Administration along with Zonal officers and other territorial Police officers from Hqr Sub-division and adjacent Sub Divisions and their Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs), also participated in the drill.
The Mock Drill Exercise was meticulously supervised by SP City North Jammu, SP (Operations) Jammu and overseen by SSP Jammu.

Additionally, a comprehensive briefing was held for all the personnel to reinforce surveillance measures, verify SOPs and maintain high alertness for the upcoming Yatra.

The primary objective of this exercise was to provide practical training to the entire team, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle real-time operations in the event of any unforeseen incidents. The exercise concluded successfully, demonstrating the readiness and coordination of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
