Man Shot At Gangyal Chowk In Suspected Group Rivalry

JAMMU, June 6: A man was shot and injured in broad daylight at Gangyal Chowk on Friday, in what police believe may be linked to group rivalry.
Preliminary investigations have ruled out any connection to terrorism.
The injured individual has been identified as Paramjeet Singh, a resident of Sehora and a known history-sheeter at the Gangyal Police Station.
According to police, he was targeted by unidentified assailants and sustained gunshot wounds.
Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation to track down the attackers and determine the precise motive behind the incident.
