Gradual rise in maximum temperatures likely over Western Himalayan Region by 6-8°C; 8-10°C over plains Northwest India; 4-6°C over Central India during 09th -15th April. As a result, day temperatures are likely to remain below normal to near normal over most part of northwest, central & east India during next 2-3 days and gradual become above normal thereafter.
Northwest India:
❖ Isolated to Scattered light to moderate rainfall/snowfall with isolated thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph gusting to 50 Kmph) likely over Jammu-Kashmir during 11th April with lightning over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand on 09thApril
Northeast India:
❖ Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) likely over Assam & Meghalaya during 9th-13thApril; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on 9th April with lightning over Arunachal Pradesh during 9th-13th April Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on 10th-11th April.
❖ Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 09th ,10th & 12th; South Assam and Tripura 9th April.
❖ Isolated hailstorm activity also likely over Assam & Meghalaya on 9th April.
East India:
❖ Isolated to Scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 30- 50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during 9th -12th; Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar on 9th, Odisha on 9th & 10th April.
