DC Kupwara distributes awards among best performing schools under SVP
KUPWARA, JUNE 16: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today distributed awards among the best performing schools under Swach Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22 – District Level Award, at a function held at Boys Higher Secondary School Kupwara.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara, Abdul Hameed Fani and other concerned were present on the occasion.
The award ceremony was organized by Education Department in collaboration with District Administration Kupwara and MIS Wing Chief Education Office under SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J&K.
Addressing at the occasion, the DC highlighted the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in and around educational institutions and asked the Heads of the Institutions to make Swachta as part of their school activities. He said the providing of award is step forward to encourage school administrations for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
