Man Allegedly Commits Suicide in Sadura, Anantnag

Anantnag, Oct 10: A man allegedly died by suicide at his residence in the Sadura area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday evening, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Malik, son of Gh Hassan Malik, a resident of Sadura. According to sources, he was found hanging inside his home, following which police were informed immediately.

A police team reached the spot and shifted the body to a nearby medical facility for medico-legal formalities.

Officials said a case has been registered, and investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident.
