Two Electrocuted While Saving Goods from Flooded Shops in Anantnag

Anantnag, Aug 27: Two people died of electrocution on Wednesday while trying to save goods from waterlogged shops in Gangiwara market near Achabal Adda, Anantnag.

Officials said the victims came in contact with a live wire while retrieving items from the inundated area. Rescue teams reached the spot, but both were declared dead.

Authorities have appealed to residents in flood-hit areas to remain cautious, especially around submerged electrical installations.
