Train Services Suspended Between Udhampur and Pathankot Due to Heavy Rains

Udhampur, Aug 17: Train operations on the Udhampur–Pathankot section were suspended on Sunday after relentless rainfall and flooding rendered the tracks unsafe, officials said.

Railway authorities confirmed that the decision was taken following over 10 hours of continuous heavy rain, which has raised safety concerns along the route.

“This suspension is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of passengers. Services will remain halted until further notice,” an official told.
