Suspected blast reported in Doda, two detained

Jammu, Sep 11: A suspected blast occurred in Dumri Mohalla near Jamai Masjid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Thursday, creating panic in the locality, sources said.

Police teams rushed to the spot, and two people have been detained for questioning.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions in Doda and nearby areas following violent protests and the detention of over 80 people after AAP MLA Mehraj Malik was arrested under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
