Sopore Police Accord Warm Farewell to Outgoing Officers
Sopore, October 27, 2025: Sopore Police organized a heartfelt farewell function at District Police Lines Sopore to bid adieu to four officers who were recently transferred to new postings.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, senior officers from the Army and CRPF, and officers of Police District Sopore including Addl. SP Sopore, DYSP DAR, SHOs, and other officers.
Those transferred included SDPO Sopore Shri Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS, SDPO Rafiabad Shri Raqeeb Malik-JKPS, DySP Ops Shri Khursheed Wani-JKPS, and DySP Shri Ishwar Dev Singh-JKPS.
On the occasion, SSP Sopore Shri Iftkhar Talib-JKPS and other speakers appreciated the outgoing officers for their dedication, professionalism, and contribution to policing and public service in Sopore. SSP Sopore extended best wishes to them for success and fulfilment in their new assignments.
The event concluded with a note of gratitude and goodwill, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and professional pride that defines the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
