SCALE initiative organised by Higher Education Department at PSPS GCW Gandhinagar
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 13: The SCALE initiative (Student Connect for Academic Leverage and Excellence) organised by the Higher Education Department Jammu and Kashmir was conducted today at PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhinagar. The event marks a key milestone in the phased implementation of the programme, which was attended by students and faculty.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Principal, Dr Kulvinder Kour formally welcomed the gathering.
Director Colleges, Higher Education Department, Dr Sheikh Aijaz Bashir, was the chief guest on the occasion and encouraged students and faculty to raise the bar of academic excellence.
He elaborated on the objectives of the SCALE initiative and the key provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP). These included the Mentor–Mentee Scheme, Academic Bank of Credits, academic flexibility and multiple entry and exit options.
The programme was conducted under the convenership of Dr Rabia Javed. It aimed to reinforce student empowerment, academic flexibility and the effective implementation of NEP reforms.
