Principal Secretry of the need to develop Kathua as an ideal destination for religious tourism as the district witnesses good influx of pilgrim footfall in Sukrala Mata Shrine, Mata Bala Sundri, Airwan Temple and Joudiyan Wali Mata throughout the year.

While reviewing progress on vital development projects coming up in the district, Principal Secretary directed the concerned executing agencies to adopt due diligence while making DPR of the projects so as to rule out any project cost mismatch or fund deficiency.

Principal Secretary assured an early action on issues highlighted during the meeting.

Ashok Parmar also passed necessary instructions to the officers to personally monitor the works and called for concerted efforts to ensure quality asset creation.
