Reviews arrangements for upcoming SANJY-2022

BALTAL/SONAMARG: Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, Ashok Kumar Parmar today visited the Sonamarg-Baltal Axis of Amarnath Yatra route and reviewed the arrangements and preparedness of the department in view of ensuing Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY) 2022.

During the visit, the Principal Secretary held detailed review of departments preparedness on the entire axis at several places like Zakura Transit Camp, Manigam Transit Camp, Kangan, Sonmarg, Neilgrath Helipad area as well as the Baltal Base camp.

While interacting with different stakeholders during the visit, Principal Secretary impressed upon the officers of Jal Shakti Department to provide round the clock water supply to all these areas besides langers and other public convenience places. He delved upon the officers to deploy adequate number of staff to the base camp for the smooth facilitation of holy devotees.
