Police Raid Houses Linked to PoK-Based Terrorists in Shopian

Shopian, Nov 8: Police in south Kashmir’s Shopian district carried out raids at multiple locations on Saturday, targeting houses linked to terrorists currently operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), officials said.

According to sources, the searches were conducted at residences of individuals allegedly associated with these militants as part of an ongoing crackdown to dismantle local support networks of banned terror organisations.

A senior police officer confirmed the operation, stating that any incriminating material recovered during the searches will be seized for further investigation.

“These raids are part of our sustained efforts to identify and act against those providing support or assistance to terror activities across the border,” the officer said.
