VHP Welcomes J&K Action Against Illegal Bangladeshi Immigrants

0

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Tuesday welcomed the Jammu and Kashmir administration’s action against Bangladeshi nationals staying illegally in the Union territory, saying such measures will strengthen the country economically, socially, culturally and from the security perspective.

In a post on X, VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal thanked Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, security forces and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the action and urged other states to follow ain the footsteps of the Union territory.

“We hope that not only will Jammu and Kashmir be sanitised of these foreign infiltrators, but the remaining state governments will also move forward swiftly in this matter, enabling us to enrich our country from economic, social, cultural, and security perspectives,” he said.

As many as 150 Bangladeshi nationals staying illegally in Jammu and Kashmir were shifted to West Bengal on Monday as part of the deportation process.

According to officials, a survey conducted by the administration with the assistance of the Jammu and Kashmir Police across the Kashmir Valley found around 600 Bangladeshi nationals allegedly staying illegally in the region.

The Bangladeshi nationals were kept at a camp manned by the Srinagar Police and were being transported to Bagdogra for their eventual deportation to Bangladesh, the officials said.

A batch of 150 people was flown on a special Indian Air Force aircraft to Bagdogra on Monday, where they were handed over to Border Security Force personnel, they said.

Another batch of 150 Bangladeshis is scheduled to be deported on October 7, according to officials.

The development comes after the Union Home Ministry constituted a High-Level Committee on Demographic Change (HLCDC) to identify illegal immigrants living in border areas. (Agencies)

Govt Notifies 375 Permissible Works Under VB-G RAM G, Expands Scope By 41%

0

The Centre has notified 375 permissible works under the new rural employment framework, with a greater emphasis on livelihood infrastructure, water security and disaster preparedness, expanding the list of works by 41 per cent over the previous scheme.

The Ministry of Rural Development said the new schedule, under the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (VB-G RAM G) Gramin Act, 2025, divides the works into four categories — water security, core rural infrastructure, livelihood-related infrastructure, and special works for extreme weather events and disaster preparedness.

Of the 375 works, 128 fall under water security, 111 under core rural infrastructure, 98 under livelihood-related infrastructure and 38 under disaster preparedness, according to the ministry.

The expanded list includes water conservation and irrigation structures, rural health and community facilities, agro-processing units, cold storage infrastructure and flood protection works.

The ministry said livelihood-related works would account for 26 per cent of the total, compared with 1.1 per cent under the previous framework.

These include cleaning, grading and packaging units, mini flour mills, market yards, dairy infrastructure, mushroom cultivation sheds and aquaculture structures.

Infrastructure for self-help groups and their federations, including SHG worksheds and SHE Marts, as well as training and skill development centres, has also been included.

Water security remains the largest category, covering check dams, recharge shafts, rejuvenation of rivers and water channels, reclamation of waterlogged land and rainwater harvesting.

The schedule also provides for drip irrigation, sprinkler systems and interventions such as artificial glaciers for water conservation.

The core infrastructure category includes solar street lighting, waste recycling plants, greywater treatment units, rural libraries, veterinary and rural health centres, Common Service Centres and additional classrooms and laboratories in government schools.

Repair and maintenance of Jal Jeevan Mission water-supply infrastructure is also covered.

For the first time, the framework has a dedicated category for disaster preparedness and extreme weather events. The 38 works include flood relief shelters, embankment strengthening, flood protection, restoration of rural roads and community assets after disasters, and forest-fire management measures, the ministry said.

It said 181 works relate to agriculture and allied activities, including 52 individual-beneficiary works. Another 107 works are tagged for Antyodaya and vulnerable households, including 68 individual-beneficiary works. The schedule also includes 36 works each related to women and youth.

Works will be planned through Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans based on local needs and approved by the Gram Sabha, with digital tracking through the Viksit Bharat National Rural Infrastructure Stack, the ministry said.

The VB-G RAM G Act, which came into force on July 1, replaced MGNREGA’s demand-driven employment framework with a new system that provides for 125 days of guaranteed wage employment per rural household annually.

It also introduced a 60:40 Centre-state funding ratio for most states, with the Centre determining state-wise normative allocations and states bearing expenditure beyond those allocated.

The opposition had objected to the removal of Mahatma Gandhi’s name from the scheme and raised concerns over the revised funding pattern, the allocation mechanism and a provision allowing states to pause work during peak agricultural seasons for up to 60 days a year. (AGENCIES)

SC Normalised Contempt Of Court Acts Over Last Decade: Mehbooba Mufti

0

Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said the judiciary makes “lofty observations” during case proceedings but often delivers judgments that are at odds with those remarks.

Commenting on Chief Justice of India Surya Kant’s observation that the Supreme Court has not approved the Election Commission’s modified Form 6 for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Mehbooba said the judiciary has repeatedly normalised acts that amount to contempt of court over the past decade.

“So what? Over the last ten years, the judiciary has repeatedly normalised acts that amount to contempt of court and simply moved on. Lofty observations are made in court, but when the time comes to deliver a judgement, the outcome is often entirely at odds with those very remarks,” the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister said in an X post.

INDIA Bloc Protest March Against CEC: Rahul, Priyanka Enter Akashvani Bhawan Premises

0

High drama unfolded at the INDIA bloc march from Parliament Street to the Election Commission headquarters here on Tuesday as Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with some other supporters entered the Akashvani Bhawan premises in a bid to reach the poll body’s office.

The Congress leaders along with other MPs were earlier stopped by security personnel on Parliament Street near Niti Aayog office during their march to demand Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.

After being prevented from proceeding further, they sat on the road in protest. Soon Rahul Gandhi and TMC’s Abhisekh Banerjee climbed atop a police barricade, while Priyanka Gandhi was taken to a awaiting bus for being detained.

However. she was soon seen alighting from it and joined her brother at the Akashvani gate.

Despite being prevented by police, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Deepinder Hooda entered the Akashvani Bhawan premises from the reception gate. They were later seen sitting under a tree.

Area Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Sharma reached the spot with a large posse of policemen in a bid to evict the protesting opposition members.

During the march, opposition MPs were seen carrying cutouts depicting Kumar in an RSS uniform and raised slogans, including “BJP hai CEC hai”, “Vote chor, gaddi chhod” and “Democracy not for sale”.

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi posted, “Gyanesh it’s done bro. Time to resign”.

Heavy security deployment and barricading had been put in place in and around Parliament and the Election Commission headquarters ahead of the march.

Security personnel were stationed in the area much before the MPs began arriving.

The MPs gathered at Parliament’s Makar Dwar before setting off towards Nirvachan Sadan, the Election Commission headquarters.

Ahead of the march, opposition MPs questioned the security arrangements and stepped up their demand for Kumar’s resignation, citing the Supreme Court’s observations on changes to Form 6, the statutory application for enrolment as a voter.

Congress MP Imran Masood accused Kumar of eroding public trust in the Election Commission.

“Across the country, the institution that Gyanesh Kumar headed was an institution the entire country trusted, an institution the entire country took pride in and felt proud of. Questions were never raised over its impartiality. One person has broken that trust,” he told PTI Videos.

“And an entire nexus is working together. We will question Gyanesh Kumar, and the BJP chief ministers will start giving the answers,” he alleged.

CPI MP P Sandosh Kumar said the Supreme Court’s observations on Monday had strengthened the opposition’s objections to the additional declaration attached to Form 6 during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

“On September 26, there was a press statement by the Commission and it was stated that the entire process related to Form 6 has been ratified by the Supreme Court. Whereas it has been proven that it is an entirely misleading statement,” he alleged. Calling the CEC a “Cheating Election Commissioner”, the CPI leader said opposition parties had been agitating against the provisions since 2025 and would intensify their movement.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut questioned the scale of security deployment ahead of the march, saying the MPs intended to proceed peacefully.

“We are MPs. We are members of Parliament. We are also citizens of this country. Why is there a need to deploy such a large force to stop us? We will walk and go. We are unarmed,” he said.

Raut claimed that Border Security Force and CISF personnel had been deployed and security outside ministers’ residences increased.

Accusing Kumar of misleading the public over the Supreme Court’s position on Form 6, he said the CEC had “no moral right” to continue in office.

The Supreme Court on Monday said it had not approved any modified version of Form 6 and would examine the Election Commission’s records to ascertain whether changes had been made and who had authorised them.

The observations were made while hearing a petition challenging alleged unilateral decisions by Kumar.

In its September 26 statement, the Commission had said the declaration attached to Form 6 for SIR had been upheld by the Supreme Court, while forms prescribed under the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, would be used outside the SIR period.

The protest comes amid an opposition campaign over alleged irregularities in the SIR exercise and reports of differences within the three-member Commission. The poll body has rejected suggestions of a split and maintained that decisions relating to SIR were taken unanimously. (Agencies)

The two were apprehended from their homes late Monday night and an Italian-made pistol, two magazines, four rounds and 500 grams of heroin and 500 grams of opium were recovered at their disclosure, the officials said.

An FIR under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Arms Act was registered and further investigations are on, the officials said.

The expansion of the network through BSNL infrastructure is aimed at improving telecom access in remote and border regions and addressing gaps in connectivity across Jammu and Kashmir.

Puppet Has To Go But Puppeteer Pair Must Be Held Accountable Too: Cong

0

The Congress on Tuesday alleged that the West Bengal assembly polls were a “text book case of mass manipulation and rigging” which was overseen by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, and asserted that the “puppet” has to go but the “two puppeteers” too have to be held accountable.

Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh shared the screenshot of a media report which claimed that judges of more than a dozen Tribunals appointed in West Bengal on the orders of the Supreme Court to process SIR appeals, including of 27 lakh deleted electors, have highlighted glaring gaps in a digital portal set up for them by the Election Commission of India’s IT division.

In his post on X, Ramesh said, “More skeletons are tumbling out of the Election Omission of India’s closet.”

“Clearly the PM-HM (Narendra Modi-Amit Shah) strategy was to somehow capture and win the West Bengal Assembly elections at any cost. It was a text book case of mass manipulation and rigging which was overseen by the CEC,” Ramesh alleged.

The puppet has of course to go but the two puppeteers too have to be held accountable, he said in an apparent reference to Kumar, and Modi and Shah.

“They stand brutally exposed and now it is only a matter of time for them to meet their reckoning,” Ramesh said.

The Real Story Behind Casino Comp Points

0
verzamel SpinMaya Casino vip-bonus promotie

We have all known it, gratis spins casino spinmaya, that exciting rush when the casino hands us something for nothing. Comp points glow like a backstage pass to a exclusive world where loyalty is rewarded with free spins, cashback, and velvet-rope treatment. The promise is captivating, and it functions because we want to believe the house truly appreciates our time. Yet behind every loyalty point is a story that most players rarely discover, a meticulously crafted machinery of mathematics and psychology intended to make you feel like a winner long before you cash out. We are pulling back the curtain on the real story, and by the time you complete this, you will never look at a comp point the same way again.

How Comp Points Truly Work Behind the Scenes

The mechanics of comp points is surprisingly simple on the surface. You wager a certain amount, and a percentage of that action is converted into points that can eventually be redeemed for cash, bonuses, or prizes. What we do not see is the complex engine that calculates how many points a single euro is actually worth. The conversion rate is seldom a clean, round number, and it can change depending on the game you play, the time of day, or the tier you hold. We have departed from tables believing we accumulated twenty euros in loyalty value, only to realize after a few calculations that the real figure was closer to twelve. That gap is not an accident; it is the house ensuring the math always adds up.

The Calculations of Play

Every wager you place fuels two invisible streams of value. One stream goes directly into the casino’s edge, the built-in house advantage that ensures long-term profitability. The other stream is a tiny tributary that supplies your comp point balance, usually falling between 0.1% and 0.3% of your total turnover. To put that into perspective, if you run through one thousand euros on a slot with a 96% return-to-player rate, you can expect to see about two or three euros land in your loyalty account, while the house takes the remainder of the theoretical loss. The mathematics are not intended to make you rich; they are intended to make you stay longer, lessening the blow of variance so you barely notice the slow drain on your bankroll.

The Psychology That Hides Us to Real Cost

We are emotional creatures, and casinos have become specialists at turning our own psychology into a instrument of mass distraction. The moment a comp point balance begins to expand, our brain reframes the entire session as a quest to earn, rather than a hazard of losing. This shift is strong because it seizes the same reward pathways that make us crave progress in video games or loyalty apps. Suddenly, a losing spin does not appear like a defeat; it feels like a stepping stone toward the next redemption threshold. We have all caught ourselves saying “just a few more spins to reach the next tier,” completely overlooking that the additional wagers are eating up far more than the bonus we are chasing.

What makes this psychological trap so effective is the illusion of control it delivers. When we can see a precise point total ticking upward, we feel like we are creating something tangible, even while our cash balance decreases. The casino knows that a player who is focused on loyalty meters is far less likely to walk away after a small win, and that extended playtime is exactly what the business model necessitates. In Belgium, where responsible gambling messages are increasingly noticeable, the quiet danger of comp points is that they can convert disciplined entertainment into an obsessive hunt for value that never fully materializes. Acknowledging this mental sleight of hand is the first step toward employing points without letting them manipulate you.

The Biggest Mistakes Players Make with Rewards

Even knowledgeable gamblers frequently undermine their own success with basic, preventable errors. We have observed astute bettors precisely figure odds but never claim their accrued rewards before they lapse. Others blunder into terms and conditions that quietly wipe out the value they thought they had secured. The road to wasted loyalty is paved with good intentions and a stubborn belief that we will get around to it later. When you factor in the sheer volume of points that evaporate across the industry each year, it becomes clear that the casino’s most profitable player is the one who earns heavily and never collects.

The Activation Pitfall

One of the most overlooked traps is the simple requirement to opt in. Numerous offers and reward point boosters do not turn on by themselves, and we have encountered many players who thought they were collecting double points on a promotional weekend, only to realize they never pressed the button. That solitary forgotten click can destroy hundreds of euros in prospective value annually. Casinos design these opt-in flows precisely because they know a significant portion of users will forget or ignore them, allowing the house to advertise generous rates while paying out a fraction of the expected liability. Before each gaming session, we establish a habit of reviewing the offers page and verifying that our rewards account is truly active, rather than merely trusting it is working behind the scenes.

Developing a Plan for Optimal Value

Viewing comp points as a tactical asset as opposed to a happy accident turns them from a minor rebate into a genuine bankroll booster. We see every session as a measured exchange where our wagering volume acquires entertainment and, simultaneously, a slow trickle of future firepower. The players who gain the most from these systems are not the biggest spenders; they are the ones who synchronize their playing habits to the rhythm of the promotion calendar and cash in points at exactly the right moment to fuel high-value bonus opportunities. When you handle comp points like ammunition that must be hoarded and deployed with intent, you quit being a customer and begin being a general commanding your own entertainment budget.

Bankroll Pacing Intersects with Redemption Timing

We have discovered that the single most effective tactic is to never redeeming points in small, impulsive bursts. Instead, we let balances accumulate until they reach a sum that can substantially extend a session or unlock a high-value tournament entry. Combining a substantial comp point conversion with a reload bonus or a cashback event creates a multiplier effect that isolated redemptions just cannot match. We also time our cashouts around known expiry triggers and always confirm that the converted bonus carries no hidden strings that will evaporate our hard-earned value. This deliberate pacing transforms a passive loyalty drip into an active tool that consistently adds double-digit percentage points to our annual return on play.

Why Comp Points Serve as the Unsung Hero of Strategic Play

Amid the clamor of eye-catching welcome deals and time-sensitive free spin explosions, the unassuming comp point hardly gets the spotlight it merits. Yet when we consider over a year of play, it is frequently the consistent accumulation of loyalty rewards that tips the scales from a negative hobby into a neutral or marginally profitable entertainment endeavor. Comp points do not scream for attention, they do not end in twenty-four hours, and they do not demand you put in more than you are comfortable risking. In a arena where every operator shouts about the latest big thing, the quiet consistency of a well-designed loyalty program is the true mark of a platform that aims you to remain for the correct reasons.

SpinMaya Casino’s Edge

At SpinMaya Casino, we have observed a loyalty engine designed for players who refuse to be misled by smoke and mirrors. From the initial spin, every euro you wager feeds a clear comp point balance that transforms directly to cash with no hidden wagering maneuvers, and the cashback deals on the bonus page convert losing streaks into regainable ground. We appreciate that there is no maze of confusing tiers or unexpected contribution decreases when you move from slots to roulette; the system honors your intelligence and acknowledges your time truthfully. When you pair that clarity with the reload promotions and free spin packages waiting for you, comp points stop being a mystery and begin turning into the most dependable weapon in your arsenal.

Reading the Fine Print Like a Pro

The distinction between a comp point system that truly increases your bankroll and one that merely pampers your ego resides in the terms and conditions. We have learned to view every loyalty program document as a treasure map where the actual gold is buried between the lines. When we analyze the rules at SpinMaya Casino or any other platform, we look past the flashy percentages and zero in on the mechanics that determine whether our points will ever turn into withdrawable cash. The fine print is missing to protect us; it is there to protect the operator, and reading it with a cynical eye converts us from passive earners into active strategists who resist to be outmaneuvered.

Betting and Deadlines: The Unseen Killers

No force destroys the value of comp points faster than a wagering requirement that forces you to bet your redemption multiple times before you can withdraw. A hundred euros in loyalty cash seems fantastic until you recognize you must wager it thirty times on high-variance slots that can devour the balance in minutes. Just as brutal are expiry windows that remove points from your account after thirty or sixty days of inactivity. We manage these deadlines like appointment dates, setting calendar reminders so no accumulated value at any time vanishes simply because life got busy. In our experience, the players who always extract maximum profit from comp systems are the ones who view redemption as an urgent task, not an afterthought.

Game Contribution Weight Dynamics

Not all wagers are made equal in the eyes of a loyalty engine. Slots almost always contribute one hundred percent of every bet toward point accumulation, but table games like blackjack or roulette often sit at a miserable ten or twenty percent, sometimes even zero. We have seen players grind for hours on live dealer tables believing they were building a substantial point balance, only to realize their contribution rate was so low that the effort was nearly meaningless. The sharpest move you can make is to study the contribution chart before you place a single chip. Aligning your preferred games with maximum point earnings is not always possible, but knowing the landscape allows you choose whether the entertainment value outweighs the loyalty penalty.

The Shining Promise of No-Cost Rewards

Step into any casino, online or brick-and-mortar, and the primary thing you notice is the dialect of generosity. Welcome bonuses overflow with free credit, and the comp point counter climbs with every spin, hinting that you are amassing a fortune out of thin air. The pledge is consistently unchanged: play your favorite games, and we will drench you in rewards that are free. For a Belgian player maneuvering a sea of offers, this story feels like a safety net, a way to extract extra value from an entertainment budget that was previously assigned. What we infrequently ponder is how those points are funded and whether the glitter is truly gold-plated plastic.

Behind every luminous loyalty meter sits a cold, hard calculation. Casinos are not charities, and every bonus coin they dole out is built into the statistical advantage they hold over you. The true magic of comp points is not that they are free, but that they lead us to ignore the cost of earning them. When we see that counter climb, our brain emits a tiny hit of dopamine, obscuring the line between a genuine rebate and a cleverly disguised incentive to keep playing. We adore the idea of being rewarded merely for showing up, and that emotional hook is exactly what the industry has refined over decades. Comprehending this does not make the points worthless; it turns us into dangerous opponents at the table.
