Minister for Agriculture, Javid Ahmad Dar today visited the Sheep Breeding Farm at Khimber and reviewed ongoing breeding programmes and developmental activities.The Minister called for scientific and transformative interventions to modernise the sheep sector, enhance productivity and strengthen self-sufficiency in mutton production.Highlighting the Government’s Embryo Transfer Technology (ETT) programme, he said district-level ETT laboratories will help rapidly multiply superior germplasm and accelerate genetic improvement.
