Mega Multi-Speciality Health Camp organised at Village Bheja-Bhaderwah

DODA, OCTOBER 04: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and Director Health Services Jammu Dr. A. H. Zargar, and under the overall guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Om Kumar, and ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, a Mega Multi-Speciality Health Camp was organized at Village Bheja in Medical Block Bhaderwah, today.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Om Kumar, CMO Doda, in the presence of the Commanding Officer, 33 Bn CRPF, BMO Bhaderwah, Dr. Versha Sharma, and several other dignitaries and officials from the Health Department and local administration.
A wide range of health services were provided to the general public, including General Health Check-up, Orthopaedic, Physician, NCD, AYUSH, Dental, Eye Check-up, Laboratory Tests and USG facilities. Free medicines were distributed among the patients and Vay Vandhana Cards were generated for senior citizens on the occasion. Additionally, teams delivered health education and awareness sessions on various preventive and promotive health topics.
More than 250 patients were screened and treated at the camp by a team of dedicated doctors and paramedical staff from SDH Bhaderwah and GMC Doda.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Om Kumar highlighted that the camp was specially organized to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the flood-affected population of the area. He appreciated the tireless efforts of the medical teams and supporting departments for ensuring the successful conduct of the event.
BMO Bhaderwah Dr. Versha Sharma in her address expressed gratitude to the district administration, local administration and GMC Doda for their continued support and emphasized the importance of organizing such outreach programs to ensure equitable access to healthcare for all.
The local population expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Health Department and the district administration for bringing quality medical care to their doorstep.
