LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta inaugurates ‘Imprimis IVF’ Centre in Jammu

Jammu: The  Lieutenant Governor of UT Ladakh,  Kavinder Gupta, today 

inaugurated the Imprimis IVF & Fertility Centre, a premier institution providing world-class 

fertility treatment services, in Jammu.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including  Shyam 

Jaju,  Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, and  Sumit Ankur Singh, Member, 

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The event commenced with the lighting of the 

ceremonial lamp, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the  Lieutenant Governor. 

The Chief Guest was formally welcomed with a shawl, an idol of Ram Darbar, and a floral 

bouquet.

Addressing the gathering,  Kavinder Gupta congratulated the entire team of Imprimis IVF 

and stated that in today’s era, with the rising incidence of infertility due to changing lifestyles, 

there is a growing need for such modern and specialized medical centres. He appreciated the 

centre’s advanced infrastructure, asking the management to expand their services to the Leh–

Ladakh region so that people in remote areas can also benefit from these facilities. He further 

emphasized the importance of providing free OPD services for economically weaker sections of 

society.

Sharing their perspectives,  Shyam Jaju praised the efforts of Imprimis IVF and expressed 

confidence that the institution would become a powerful medium for bringing happiness into 

the lives of childless couples.  Jugal Kishore Sharma described the centre as a significant 

addition to Jammu’s healthcare infrastructure.  Sumit Ankur Singh highlighted the need to 

take fertility-related issues seriously despite population growth and noted that increasing 

alcohol and substance abuse could be a major contributing factor, calling for further discussion 

and research on the subject.

The guests commended the vision, dedication, and efficiency of the founders and directors of 

the centre. Present on the occasion were Founder & Director  Naveen, CEO  Arvinder 

Singh, Director  Osman Dar, and Director Dr. Rakesh Samal.

The programme was smoothly conducted by Dr. Rakesh Samal. During the ceremony, the Chief 

Guest and other dignitaries honoured the centre’s specialist doctors—Dr. Iram Shafi Akhun, Dr. 

Shruti Gupta, Dr. Rakesh Samal, and Dr. Sudhanshu Rath—with mementos in recognition of their 

outstanding contributions to the medical field.

Concluding the event, CEO  Arvinder Singh stated that Imprimis IVF is a state-of-the-art 

fertility centre specializing in IVF, IUI, and other advanced reproductive treatments, with a

mission to help complete families using the best available technology at an affordable cost. He 

expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, doctors, and staff for their support.
