Jammu Sanskriti School Shines Bright with “विश्वं दीप्यमानम्” Annual Event
विश्वं दीप्यमानम् — The shining world that reminds us a tiny spark can illuminate the whole world. Celebrating knowledge, creativity and values that brighten lives. It is not just a theme, but a celebration of illumination, growth and positivity.
Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu presented its spectacular Annual Event “विश्वं दीप्यमानम् – The Shining World” by the Primary Wing (I–V), showcasing the brilliance of young talent, cultural vibrancy and global harmony.
The grand event commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries. Chief Guest: Mahima Madan (IAS), CEO JAKEGA. Guests of Honour: Pallavi Mishra (IAS), SDM Marh and Archana Mishra (Educationist), W/o LG P.K. Mishra (GOC White Knight Corps). Special Invitees: Raman Gupta (Managing Director, Krishna Group of Companies & Pans and Pots), Rajesh Rathore (Principal JK Public School) and Col. Sumit.
The celebration began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing the illumination of knowledge, values and unity. The programme then unfolded with enthralling performances including dance dramas, musical acts, skits and thematic presentations highlighting environmental care, empathy, unity, innovation and patriotism.
The audience applauded the confidence, discipline and creativity of the young Sanskritians, appreciating the efforts of teachers and mentors behind the scenes.
Addressing the gathering, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima expressed immense pride in the students’ performances and encouraged them to continue shining with knowledge and humanity. A heartfelt welcome to the dignitaries was extended by Trishna Sharma (Coordinator Pry 1 & 2).
The Annual Report of the Primary Wing was presented by Pooja Sharma Wazir (Coordinator Sr. Pry Wing), highlighting the school’s achievements in its journey toward holistic excellence.
The event was graced by Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson JSS), Sunakshi Anand (Dir. Operations JSS Jammu), Harleen Anand (Dir. Operations JSS Kathua), Avneet Kour Budhraja (Vice-Principal) and Tarmeet Kour Raina (Administrative Officer), whose presence added to the aura of the evening.
Students were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Special awards were presented to achievers of inter-school competitions.
The event concluded with a vibrant grand finale featuring Rajasthani, Manipuri and Punjabi dance performances, bringing the evening to a colourful and energetic close.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Bhawna (Headmistress – Primary Wing), expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, teachers and students for making the event a grand success.
