Indore Tops Cleanliness Rankings for 8th Consecutive Year

NEW DELHI, July 17 – Indore has once again secured its position as India’s cleanest city, marking its eighth straight win in the annual Swachh Survekshan cleanliness survey. Surat and Navi Mumbai followed closely behind in the overall rankings.
In the category of cities with a population between 3 to 10 lakh, Noida took the top spot, with Chandigarh and Mysore finishing second and third, respectively.
The awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a special ceremony in New Delhi. The event was also attended by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal and other dignitaries.
