Good Governance Week: District Poonch marks day 3 with robust public outreach, field visits

POONCH, DECEMBER 21: The third day of Good Governance Week was actively observed across district Poonch, witnessing extensive public outreach and field-level engagement by the district administration.
A series of programmes were conducted across the sub-divisions and tehsils including Surankote, Mendhar, Mandi, Balakote, Mankote and Haveli, with a focus on strengthening grassroots governance and enhancing service delivery.
The Officers/officials from the line departments, carried out field visits and organized public interaction sessions in their respective jurisdictions. These interactions provided a platform to citizens to voice their concerns and developmental needs directly before the administration.
Officers patiently listened to grievances, recorded genuine cases and offered on-the-spot redressal wherever feasible.
The initiatives undertaken on Day 3 of Good Governance Week underscore the district administration’s commitment to responsive governance, transparent administration and strengthened citizen participation, reaffirming its resolve to take governance closer to the people in district Poonch.
