Five Army Personnel Injured in Poonch Road Accident

Poonch, Sep 24: Five Army personnel were injured when a Taverra vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident at Ghani area, Sector Mankote, Poonch district on Wednesday morning.

Officials said the vehicle, bearing registration number JK02 AW 1387, was en route from Dhara Dullian to Jammu when it skidded off the road around 7:15 am.

The injured soldiers, posted at Balnoi Nangi Takeri, were proceeding on leave when the accident occurred. A replacement vehicle was arranged to continue their journey.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings have been initiated.
