DRAC approves 27 Rent fixation cases at Kathua

KATHUA, DECEMBER 19: To finalize the Rent Assessment and Fixation of the buildings under the use of different Government Departments, meeting of the District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma here at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.
In all, 30 rent cases of buildings presently used by Government Departments including Police, Handicraft, Handloom, Ayush, Health & Medical Education, Education, JKRLM, ICDS, Revenue, FCS&CA, Geology and Mining, RDD, Library, Horticulture and PMGSY were put forth before the Committee for fixing of monthly rent.
After the thorough assessment, 27 cases were approved while 3 other cases were scheduled to be put up again due to some technical deficiencies.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kathua Vishav Partap Singh, XEN PWD (R&B) Kathua, Arvind Langhey along with members of all the concerned Departments whose Offices are functioning from private buildings in the District.
