DLRC meeting: Rs 831 crore Credit Plan launched in Reasi
REASI, MARCH 27: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek, today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to assess the performance of banks for the quarter ending December 2025.
During the review, sector-wise lending under priority and non-priority sectors, bank-wise deposits and advances and progress under various financial inclusion schemes were discussed in detail. While reviewing Credit-Deposit Ratio compared to the previous quarter, the DDC directed banks with lower ratios to take corrective measures to improve performance in the coming quarter.
The DDC instructed banks to share a checklist of required documents with line departments to reduce case rejections. He reviewed pending cases under centrally sponsored schemes, emphasizing timely disposal.
Highlighting the importance of financial inclusion, the DDC directed the Lead District Manager to ensure banking coverage in unbanked areas to make services accessible to all sections of society.
On the occasion, the DDC launched the Potential Linked Credit Plan of ₹831 crore for Reasi, prepared by NABARD under the priority sector.
Later, the DDC chaired a meeting on Change of Land Use cases. Eight proposals were examined, resulting in four approvals, three rejections, and one deferred case. The DDC stressed transparency, accountability, and coordination among departments and instructed officials to expedite issuance of No Objection Certificates after proper verification. The Jal Shakti Department was directed to assess future water availability while granting NOCs.
The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, ACR Nitin Verma, DFO Sunil Singh, XENs, and other district officials.
