Divisional Commissioner Jammu, @Rameshkumarias today conducted an extensive visit to the affected stretch of NH-44 at Thard to review the pace of ongoing restoration works and regulation of traffic movement.

Directed Regional Officer NHAI to double their efforts in order to restore the 300-metre affected stretch on priority, ensure widening and laying of WBM and maintain uninterrupted flow of traffic on a daily basis. Traffic Department to ensure strict regulation of traffic movement on NH-44.

Instructed the executing agencies to mobilize additional men and machinery to ensure timely completion of the works.
