Deptt of AA&M holds special exhibitions, seminars to commemorate #‘International Museum day’

SRINGAR, MAY 18: On the eve of ‘International Museum day’ being celebrated throughout the World today on the theme ‘Power of Museums’, the Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums (AA&M) today started weeklong event in the form of special exhibitions and seminars at SPS Museum, Lal-Mandi, Srinagar and Art Gallery Museum, Old Secretariat Stone Building, Srinagar.

The special exhibition and seminar was inaugurated by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole at SPS Museum Dal Mandi, Srinagar.

A special exhibition of the fossils housed in SPS Museum, Srinagar were kept on display in SPS Museum, Srinagar and Mughal paintings have been displayed at the Art Gallery Museum at Old Secretariat Stone Building, Srinagar.
