Degree College for women, Kathua organized a Quiz Competition
Kathua: Govt. Degree College for women, Kathua organized a Quiz Competition on Topic “The Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties” on 22nd July, 2022. The quiz was organized by Shikshit Bharat Club in collaboration with IQAC under the guidance of Dr. Sangita Nagari, esteemed Principal of the college. The motive of Shikshit Bharat Club is to provide Quality Education to all and aware students about their rights and duties. The programme was organized to acquaint students about the Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties of the Indian Constitution. The knowledge of our fundamental rights is important so as to prevent injustice. Ms. Pallavi, HOD, Political Science, was the coordinator of the Programme and also the Nodal Officer of Shikshit Bharat Club. About 50 students from semester 2nd participated in the competition. In the competition, there were four teams, Team A, Team B, Team C and Team D. First position was clinched by Team D namely, Riya, Suchita and Shivani. Second position was secured by Team B, namely, Neha, Vishwa, Bharti. Third Position was shared by Team A namely, Anjali, Palvi and Naina. Mr. Vijay Kumar, Assistant Professor in Sociology, Mr. Satish Khajuria Assistant Professor in Public Administration and Dr. Deepti Salotra Assistant Professor in Home Science also actively participated in this competition. Prizes were also distributed among the winners.
