DC Samba participates in Block Diwas at village Mawa
SAMBA, JULY 06: District Administration Samba organised weekly Block Diwas at Samba, Ghagwal and Vijaypur today.
On the day, Deputy Commissioner Anuradha Gupta participated at the proceedings held at border village Mawa of tehsil Ghagwal and addressed issues and demands of the locals. During the programme, she exhorted Revenue Department officials to clear pendency of relief cases in a time bound manner.
Deputy Commissioner during the programme directed field officials to prepare a list of grievances well in advance of the locality in coordination with PRI members so that during the Block Diwas, a concrete resolution of the issues or demands could be realised. “The prime motive of Block Diwas is to address pendency and to clear bottlenecks with active convergence of all the line departments at a common platform in presence of local governing bodies”, she said.
DC Samba called for expediting public services delivery especially in issuance of Revenue Certificates, Surrender Certificate, Ration Card etc. She also inspected Amrit Sarovar pond in Mawa and distributed Ayushman Cards among beneficiaries.
Among others District Development Council Member, Rajpura Asha Rani; Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman; Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ghagwal, Ramkesh; CMO, Dr Vidhi; BDO, Shivani besides other district and sectoral officers were also present at the proceedings.
Meanwhile, the Block Diwas programme at blocks Vijaypur and Samba were held under supervision of SDM Vijaypur Vinay Sharma and ACR Samba, Ravinder respectively.
