DC Ramban reviews status of civic amenities, services in Batote
RAMBAN, MARCH 3: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan today conducted an extensive visit to Batote and reviewed the developmental scenario in the area, besides assessing the status of essential services and supplies.
The Deputy Commissioner took stock of essential services in the area including power and water supply, healthcare facilities, sanitation and road connectivity. He further reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works and infrastructure projects.
As part of the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also conducted market checking in the town. He directed the enforcement departments to maintain strict vigilance against overpricing, hoarding and black marketing.
The DC also interacted with shopkeepers and members of civil society, getting feedback on the availability and pricing of essential commodities and other civic issues. Emphasizing people-centric governance and public welfare, the Deputy Commissioner assured the public that their genuine concerns would be addressed on priority.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Langer site established for SANJY at Chanderkote and reviewed the maintenance for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
