#DC Poonch inspects Development work, Educational, #Health institution in Block #Bufliaz

POONCH, MAY 14: District Development  Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today conducted an extensive tour of block Bufliaz of Tehsil Surankote where he inspected ongoing developmental works, Educational and  Health Institution.

 SDM Surankote, Naheem-Un-Nissa Bhatti, Tehsildar Surankote, Sheraz Ahmed, AEE BRO, Harvind Ojhey, Girdawars Halqas, Patwaries and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.

The local delegation also met the DC and complained about dumping of the muck by a contractor of BRO on the construction site causing hindrance in the smooth movement of traffic. They sought the intervention of the DC in addressing the problem.  The Deputy Commissioner directed BRO authorities to remove the muck from the road within 10 days and take help of local administration and PRIs for identifying a suitable dumping place elsewhere.

A group of locals also appealed to the Deputy Commissioner to review the alignment of the road from Mirza Morh to JNV. The Deputy Commissioner directed the tehsildar to  come to his office along with the stakeholders/sarpanches of the respective areas and show them the approved Map of the subject road from the Ministry of Defense (MOD).  

Later, the Deputy Commissioner along with SDM and Tehsildar Surankote and field revenue staff visited Bufliaz area and inspected the progress of construction of the road. They also inspected Government Middle School Dogrian, Hr. Sec. School Buflia, Primary School Bufliaz, Girls Primary School left Bufliaz, ZEO office Bufliaz and PHC Bufliaz.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed dismay over lack of available records regarding different schools/ institutions of the zone. He directed the SDM to take  action against the ZEO  and examine the leave of the staff of these institutions. He further directed to verify the order of the staff which has been shown on deputation.

On his return, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a surprise inspection of Sub Divisional Hospital Surankote. He took a round of different wards and inspected the casualty section and Jan Ashudya Kendra.

On finding shortage of stocks in the Kendra, the BMO was directed to get the issue settled within a week time positively. The SDM was directed to take similar necessary action with respect to the staff of Sub Division Hospital Surankote.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that BMO Surankote will nominate one doctor as nodal officer to look after the availability and stock of medicine in the Jan Ashudiyakendra.
