DC meets injured persons in GMC Rajouri

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 15: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today visited Government Medical College and Associated Hospital to meet the persons injured in a bus accident at Derilayote area of tehsil Manjakote.

SSP, Mohammad Aslam; PO IWMP, Sheraz Chowhan; MS DH, Dr Mehmood Bajar and other officers accompanied the DC during his visit.

Tehsildar Manjakote informed that as many as 25 passengers were injured and 4 died in the accident till the last reports came in. He also informed that the bus in which they were traveling met with an accident near the Derilayote area of tehsil Manjakote.

The injured were immediately shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital Rajouri for further treatment.

The DC inquired about the condition of the injured persons and directed the medical staff to provide best possible treatment to them.

He also assured of all possible support to the injured and their families by the District Administration in these tough hours.  

Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner also visited the accident and supervised the rescue operation.
