CM Yogi Commends Galgotias University’s Global Rankings and Innovations
Lucknow, Dec 24: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday praised Galgotias University for its impressive performance in the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education (THE) rankings, saying the institution has significantly contributed to the state’s growing stature in India’s and the global education landscape.
During a special interaction, the Chief Minister described Galgotias University as a leading example for higher education institutions in Uttar Pradesh and a matter of pride for the state. He stressed the importance of academic excellence, innovation-driven learning, and global collaboration in positioning Uttar Pradesh as an emerging knowledge hub.
Galgotias University Chancellor Sunil Galgotia, while appreciating CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, said that Uttar Pradesh’s governance and development model under his stewardship has become a benchmark for other states. He added that the upcoming Jewar Airport would generate employment opportunities for millions of young people and that the large-scale industrial hub being developed in the region is unmatched anywhere else in the country.
The Chief Minister also lauded Galgotias University’s sustained efforts to build a world-class academic ecosystem and encouraged the institution to achieve greater heights in global rankings.
A key highlight of the interaction was CM Yogi’s appreciation of the university’s G-SCALE (Galgotias Student-Centred Active Learning Ecosystem), a future-ready academic model. He also welcomed the university’s collaboration with Singapore-based Nanyang Technological University (NTU) through its InsPIRE model, which has further strengthened Galgotias University’s teaching framework.
Expressing satisfaction over the university’s academic initiatives in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, research, and drone technology, the Chief Minister said such forward-looking innovations not only prepare students for global competition but also strengthen India’s journey towards technological self-reliance.
Speaking on the occasion, Galgotias University CEO Dr Dhruv Galgotia said the university was deeply honoured by the Chief Minister’s encouraging words and blessings. He said the recognition of Galgotias University’s achievements in the QS and THE rankings validates the institution’s efforts in building a future-oriented academic environment.
“Our G-SCALE learning ecosystem, collaboration with NTU’s InsPIRE model, and initiatives in cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors and drones are helping us move closer to our goal of positioning Uttar Pradesh as a global destination for quality education and nurturing leaders who will contribute to India’s growth story,” he added.
