Bulletin on Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19)
JK reports 692 fresh positive cases, 453108 recovered
SRINAGAR, JULY 27: The Government today informed that 692 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 261from Jammu division and 432 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 461947. Also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu division and 01 from Kashmir division.
Moreover, 432 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 223 from Jammu division and 209 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 461947positive cases, 4074are Active Positive (1923in Jammu Division and 2151in Kashmir Division), 453108 have recovered and 4765have died; 2338 in Jammu division and 2427 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 26071802 test results available, 461947samples have tested positive and 25609855 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 16,187 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6695895 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 110persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4074in isolation and 259in home surveillance. Besides, 6686687 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 167cases, Srinagar reported 230 cases, Udhampur and Kupwara reported 10cases each, Baramulla reported 99 cases, Samba reported 14 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Bandipora reported 15cases,Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar reported 13cases each, Pulwama reported 01 case, Budgam reported 23 cases, Anantnag reported 22 cases, Poonch reported 07 cases, Kulgam reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported 27 cases and Rajouri reported 21 cases while as no other district reported any fresh case for today.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
