Arrangements for #Kheer Bhawani Mela reviewed at Ganderbal

         GANDERBAL, MAY 21: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for celebration of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela at Tullamulla, here.

Threadbare discussions were held on lodging, sanitation, barricading, establishment of joint control room, health facilities, parking of vehicles, security, availability of essential commodities, power and Water supply and other allied arrangements. 

The ADC directed the departments concerned for making necessary arrangements for uninterrupted power and drinking water supplies, transport, security, fire tenders, ration, medical facilities, sanitation in and around the temple and other arrangements.

The Municipal Council Ganderbal was directed to start intensive sanitation drives within as well as approaching road stretch to the temple prior to Mela besides installing dustbins at appropriate places in the market.

AD, FCS&CA was directed to ensure all essential commodities including kerosene and LPG are available for the devotees visiting the Shrine.
