Alert forces has broken backbone of militancy: Arvind
Jammu and Kashmir BJP Secretary, Arvind Gupta, has said that foiling an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir by killing two militants is highly appreciable work by the brave and round the clock alert security forces deployed on borders in the Union Territory (UT). It is also the result of the perfect coordination between the intelligence agencies, Jammu and Kashmir police and other forces.
Arvind Gupta said that during the long years of proxy war waged by our neighbour country against India, there had been repeated attempts of infiltration from across the border. Attempts had been made to push trained militants and sent deadly weapons into the Indian territory. While many militants have been killing before they could succeed to enter and carry on their nefarious designs, a large percent among those who could enter inside the territorial boundaries and reach their hideouts, were killed by the army, police and para-military forces in their joint operations.
Arvind Gupta said that failing the infiltration bids by killing the gun carrying militants on borders and their elimination in remote, far flung, civilian, defence areas of Jammu and Kashmir has sent a very clear message to the bosses and sympathises of militancy that there would be no leniency and that every such act which poses threat to the unity and integrity of the India will be dealt with strong hand.
“The days of uncertainty, stone pelting, hartals, protests, killings of civilians, attacks on security forces have declined to great extent, there is peace, normalcy, people are carrying on their day to day activities fearlessly, it could only be achieved due to the operations of security forces, which are always alert and eliminating militants,” he said and added that our brave soldiers have broken the backbone of militants and even making supreme sacrifices for the nation in this region of the country and they all deserve salute and honour.
