Agniveer Injured in Accidental Firing at LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Oct 30: An Agniveer soldier was injured after his weapon accidentally went off along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Thursday.

Officials said the incident occurred during a post-firing drill when the soldier was cleaning his weapon and accidentally shot himself in the right toe.

The injured soldier has been identified as Krishna Pal Singh. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, officials added.
