Har Ghar Tiranga: DC Shopian convenes meeting to finalise preparations
SHOPIAN, JULY 19: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers to discuss the preparations for celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative of the government in the district.
The meeting held detailed discussion on effective implementation of set out modalities for Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
On the occasion, the DC said that the government has launched โHar Ghar Tirangaโ campaign to instill a sense of patriotism among citizens and directed the officers to complete all the necessary arrangements in advance for its successful celebration.
He asked all the District heads of departments to submit the requisitions for National Flag for timely and proper distribution of National Flag among the employees.
He also directed BDOs and EOs to finalize requisition of flags for institutional and residential buildings of rural and urban areas for its distribution.
The DC said the District Administration has put in place all the necessary arrangements for the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and urged all the stakeholders to work in coordination and cooperation for observing all the events as per scheduled plan.
He emphasised on completing the task of Har Ghar Tiranaga within the shortest possible time.
A District Tiranga Centre has also been established, headed by Additional District Development Commissioner which shall oversee the implementation of the campaign.
SDM at sub-divisional and Tehsildars at tehsil level will also monitor and oversee the implementation of campaign in their respective jurisdictions.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Shopian, Manzoor Hussain; Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Zainapora, Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, Principals, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sectoral and District officers, besides other concerned officials.
