DC Reasi holds public grievance redressal camp at Chassana
REASI, JUNE 29: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited far flung block Chasana and conducted a public darbar cum Block Divas meeting at Dak Banglow Sungri to assess the response of the public towards various developmental initiatives being implemented by the administration in the Area and listen to their issues.
The Deputy Commissioner listened to the grievances raised by the PRI’s and public and issued directions to the concerned quarters for early disposal of the same.
The Block Divas was attended by DDC Member Yasmeen Baji, DDC Member Master Israil, BDC Chairperson Abdul Razak and locals and PRIs besides PO ICDS, Anwar Bandey; SDM Mahore, Mazahir Hussain Shah; CHO, CAO, DSHO, CMO, DMO and other district officers.
The DC interacted with the PRIs and locals, listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redress of genuine issues.
The PRIs and Public put forth their demands seeking early construction of road from kalaban to GHSS, connectivity to Tujjar area bridge, tapping of tourism potential of block Chassana, tendering of all projects under JJM, repair of damaged PHC building at Banna-A, a community hall for village Chassote, meeting shortage of staff in Singlikote and other schools, provisioning visit of Veterinary Doctor once in a month to the area, provision of ration to 5 wards at Sungari, problem in installation of biometric machines at Sungari due to poor network, notification of mining rates, clearance of SDRF compensation cases within stipulated time period, construction of grid station at Chassana, opening of bank branch, early release of pending installments under PMAY scheme, speedy construction of Bridge at Dhandakote, construction of Revenue complex and Tehsil office and release of pending liabilities of MGNREGA for the year 2018-2019.
The DDC member, Yasmeen Baji demanded Construction of Bridge at Sugga, Grid station at chassana, opening of Bank branch at Tulli Bana, construction of road from Hassote to Chassana, speedy completion of Tulli-Banna CRF road, Sungri to Kotli and Chana roads, Completion of PHC Building at Ghota and TulliBanna, Implementation of Forest Rights Act, Ex-gratia relief to livestock losses due to snowfall in upper reaches, Funds to clear Pending liability of SBM, Ghota HSS Building besides other demands.
BDC chairperson Abdul Razak demanded posting of junior engineer in Block Chassana, posting of VLWs, Funds to clear SBM liability, Construction of important roads like Hamosan to Dhandkote, Chassana to Sarsote, Phalni to Mohra Mal,Bhagankot to Dhandkote, Chana to Hassote road, electrification of uncovered areas, construction of community hall and Niabat Building at Sungri,etc.
DDC Member Master Israil demanded road to Kousernag, Fast-tracking of important roads like Ganjote to Phalni road, construction of road from Badora to Nandoli, Bridges at Khurud, Badora to Moosra road, providing of relief to livestock losses during the snowfall beside other important demands.
The Deputy Commissioner listened to Public Grievances and addressed all the important issues raised by the public one by one. She motivated the public to avail the benefits of various important government schemes meant for them.
Several issues of Water, Power, Road, Transport, Ration, Nutrition, Education, Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers and for several other issues DDC fixed timeline for their resolution.
While reviewing the development works, Babila Rakwal directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing projects in a stipulated time frame.
