ADC Bandipora takes stock of Digitization of Jamabandi

Visits various digitization centres

BANDIPORA JUNE 17: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)  Bandipora  Waseem Raja today visited various digitization centres established at various tehsil headquarters of Bandipora for digitization of revenue records (Jamabandi) being undertaken in the district.

The ADC visited digitization centres at Sumbal, Hajin and Bandipora and took stock of the pace of the digitization process.

 During the visit, he interacted with the revenue officials regarding the various issues related to the digitization.

He expressed satisfaction with the overall pace of digitization within the district and directed the revenue officers/officials to further intensify their efforts and ensure completion of the task within the shortest possible time.

The digitization of jamabandi is being carried out in all the districts of the UT under the directions of the UT Government. It is part of the digital initiatives taken by the Government and is aimed at bringing more transparency in the revenue department.

The ADC was accompanied by SDM Sumbal Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone and Tehsildar Sumbal.
