e-KYC camps organised at Kalakote, Budhal to boost Aadhaar Seeding of LPG consumers

RAJOURI, JANUARY 20: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma, e-KYC camps are being organised in different tehsils of district Rajouri to saturate Aadhaar seeding of LPG consumers.
The initiative is being supervised by Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Rohit Kumar.
In continuation to the drive, dedicated e-KYC camps were held today in Kalakote and Budhal, in close coordination with the LPG distributors.
The primary objective of e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding of LPG consumers is to prevent duplication, curb leakages and ensure that government subsidies reach the rightful beneficiaries.
The camps received an encouraging response from the public; with consumers availing the technical support and guidance to complete the e-KYC process.
The district administration has urged the LPG consumers, particularly those yet to complete Aadhaar seeding, to avail the doorstep services to avoid any inconvenience in availing LPG subsidies.
