CIK Conducts Multiple Raids in Seven Districts Across Kashmir in Terror-Related Case

Srinagar, December 16: Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out pre-dawn searches at multiple locations across the Kashmir Division on Tuesday in connection with a terror-related case.
Official sources said that CIK, along with local police and the Central Reserve Police Force, launched simultaneous raids in seven districts of the Valley as part of an ongoing investigation into terror-linked activities.
The raids were conducted in Pulwama, Budgam, Kulgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag and Kupwara.
Sources said the investigation pertains to terror-related crimes, including online glorification of terrorism and attempts to radicalise and recruit individuals into terror outfits.
The case has been registered under Sections 153-A and 505 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
