DIPR organises painting competition, cultural programme on patriotic theme at GHSS Surinsar

Jammu, December 10: The Cultural Unit of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) today organised a painting competition and cultural programme on the patriotic theme at Government Higher Secondary School, Surinsar.
Students enthusiastically participated in various cultural activities including patriotic songs, dances and poem recitations, showcasing their talent and love for the nation. Artists of the Cultural Unit Jammu also presented melodious patriotic songs, adding vibrancy and inspiration to the event.
In the painting competition Simran secured the first prize, while Vanshika won the second prize and Geetanjali bagged the third prize. Consolation prizes were awarded to Raman and Sanjay for their creative efforts.
The Chief Guest, Incharge Principal Amar Singh, appreciated the Cultural Unit Jammu for organising such motivational programmes that encourage students to actively participate in creative and patriotic activities.
Among others present on the occasion included Sarpanch Surinsar Bodh Raj, President Dogri Sahitya Sabha Bajalta Subhash Sumbriya, Advisor Dogri Sahitya Sabha Bajalta Gandharv Singh, staff members and a large number of students.
The entire programme was conducted under the direction of Joint Director Information, Deepak Dubey and the supervision of Cultural Officer, Mohit Sharma.
