Security Forces Bust Two Old Terrorist Hideouts in Kulgam

Kulgam, Nov 3: Security forces have busted two old terrorist hideouts during a joint search operation in the forest area of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Monday.

According to officials, the operation was launched jointly by the 9 Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police based on specific intelligence inputs.

“Two old hideouts were traced and subsequently destroyed between Ahmadabad and Nengripora forest areas,” an official said.

He added that items including gas cylinders and clothes were recovered from the sites. Further investigation is underway.
