ACB, Reasi Administration organize Vigilance Awareness Programme

REASI, OCTOBER 29: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), in collaboration with the District Administration Reasi, organized a vigilance awareness programme for employees of the Rural Development Department (RDD), former PRI members, Urban Local Bodies representatives and members of civil society at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, here today.
The event, held under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” was graced by SSP Paramvir Singh; PO Poshan Sudershan Kumar; ACD Vijay Kumar; ACR Nitin Verma; DySP Laxmi Kant; DySP HQ Vishal Jamwal, Inspector Bhushan Manhas and other senior officers.
The programme commenced with the administration of the Integrity Pledge, wherein participants reaffirmed their commitment to promoting transparency, integrity and accountability in governance. Speakers emphasized the importance of the judicious and transparent use of public funds for societal welfare and development, urging all officials to uphold honesty and fairness in public service.
As part of the event, participants were introduced to the Kahoot App and registered themselves on the platform. A short film showcasing the achievements of the Anti-Corruption Bureau was also screened, followed by a detailed PowerPoint presentation on RDD schemes. The presentation highlighted potential areas vulnerable to corruption and outlined preventive measures to enhance transparency and efficiency
Officers speaking on the occasion emphasized the need for every government employee to remain vigilant and accountable in their duties. They underscored that ethical conduct and integrity are the cornerstones of good governance, essential to ensuring that public welfare schemes reach their intended beneficiaries without leakages or malpractices.
The District Administration Reasi expressed gratitude to the Anti-Corruption Bureau for organizing the awareness programme and for its sustained efforts in promoting transparency, integrity and ethical governance in public administration.
