Man Dies of Heart Attack After Son Collapses in His Lap in Ramban

Banihal/Jammu, Oct 14: In a tragic incident, a man died of a heart attack after his son collapsed in his lap while they were on their way to a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Tuesday morning, officials said.

The incident took place in the Tethar area of Banihal when 45-year-old Shabir Ahmed Gania was taking his ailing 14-year-old son, Sahil Ahmed, to a hospital. Sahil reportedly collapsed in his father’s lap on the way.

Unable to bear the shock, Shabir suffered a fatal heart attack, officials said.

Both bodies were later brought to the sub-district hospital in Banihal for necessary formalities, they added.
