Two Terrorists Killed Along LoC in Kupwara, Operation Underway

Srinagar, October 14: Two terrorists were killed by security forces during an anti-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

A senior official said that suspicious movement was detected near the LoC in Machil, following which the intruders were challenged by security personnel. The infiltrators opened fire, leading to a gunfight.

In the ensuing exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed. Their identities are being verified, the official added.

The operation in the area is still underway as security forces continue to search for any remaining threats.
