DC Poonch reviews disaster preparedness of SDRF, other stakeholders

POONCH, OCTOBER 4: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the preparedness of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and other stakeholder departments.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of preparedness across all concerned departments. He emphasized the importance of mapping and operationalizing all disaster-related equipment and resources, ensuring the same are functional and ready for deployment in the event of any emergency.
The Deputy Commissioner urged all departments to maintain close coordination and ensure their teams are trained and equipped to handle any emergency efficiently.
The meeting was attended by ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik; ACR Mohammad Sayeed; ACD Shakeel Ahmed Mir; SDMs, CMO, Executive Engineers (Xens), Tehsildars, DYSP DAR, CEO Municipality, Medical Superintendent Health, AD FCS&CA, AC Food Safety, ARTO, Accounts Officer, Headquarter Assistant to DC, Inspector SDRF, SDO BSNL, In-Charge Fire & Emergency, AEE Grid Kamsar and other concerned officers.
