Jammu Police, South Zone Solved Theft Case, PP Narwal Recovered Stolen Bike, Accused Arrested

On July 30/07/2025 One Bike Bearing Registration Number JK02 BC 6466 was stolen from Narwal and in this regard Case FIR No. 237/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS was registered at Bahu Fort.

Acting immediately, a police team led by IC PP Narwal under the supervision of SHO PS Bahu Fort, SDPO City East & SP South initiated a thorough investigation using technical surveillance and ground intelligence.

The investigation led to the arrest of the accused namely Anil Singh S/o Babu Singh R/o Qasim Nagar, Jammu. Upon sustained interrogation, the accused person confessed that he has stolen the said bike from Narwal and the same Bike is recovered on his disclosure successfully.

The investigation is ongoing, with further links to similar thefts under active probe. Accused peron involvement in other theft cases across the region is also being examined and more recoveries are expected in the coming days as new leads emerge.
